Blackboard Sponsors Hyperliquid Community Dinner Seoul

SEOUL, September 16, 2026. Blackboard, the non-custodial on-chain trading terminal, will sponsor the Hyperliquid Community Dinner Seoul on September 28, 2026. The invitation-only evening is hosted by HypurrCorea and Hyperliquid KR during Korea Blockchain Week and brings together builders, traders, researchers, and community members from the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

The event runs in two parts. A private dinner from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM KST seats up to 100 invited guests. A community mingle from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM KST follows in the same venue, also capped at 100 guests.

Why Blackboard Is Sponsoring

Hyperliquid is an exchange that runs as a blockchain: the order book, matching, and settlement are all on-chain. HIP-3 opened that book to any builder who stakes HYPE, and the markets they listed on stock and commodity prices are now its largest. According to CoinDesk, open interest in HIP-3 perpetuals on equity and commodity prices reached a record $3.6 billion in August 2026 and overtook bitcoin as the platform's largest market by that measure.

Blackboard is a front-end on that book. It serves more than 100 perpetual markets on equities, indices, commodities, and FX, all of them HIP-3 markets on Hyperliquid, through one account in a non-custodial terminal. Blackboard runs these TradFi products on Hyperliquid because, across centralized exchanges and on-chain venues alike, it has the deepest liquidity and the most active volume for them. Blackboard currently routes to markets deployed by builders such as trade.xyz.

Every order Blackboard fills lands on Hyperliquid, so growth in Blackboard's user base is growth in Hyperliquid's volume and open interest. The two scale together. Once its user pool reaches sufficient scale, Blackboard is reviewing a move to become a HIP-3 deployer and list markets of its own, adding to the set of markets available to every Hyperliquid front-end.

Registration

Registration is open on Luma and subject to host approval. Guests select the part they plan to attend, and access to the other part is confirmed separately based on availability. The venue is disclosed to approved guests.

Blackboard will also co-host The Trading Floor with Aster on October 1, 2026, listed on the official Korea Blockchain Week side event calendar.
